Ayurveda Natural Medicine

The World's Oldest and Most Comprehensive System of natural meicine

The Ayurvedic approach is to prevent and treat disease by enlivening the inner self-healing ability of the body. Ayurveda also aims to treat the root causes of chronic disorders rather than treat symptoms.

The course begins by introducing the comprehensive and time-tested system by which Ayurveda classifies the state of balance and imbalance in the body’s inner intelligence at the basis of the healing response.

Ayurveda divides the inner intelligence of the body into three organizing principles, or “doshas”, called Vata, Pitta and Kapha. Course participants will learn a wide variety of methods to determine the state of balance and imbalance within the doshas including the physical examination procedure of Ayurvedic pulse diagnosis.

Health is won or lost in how we live day to day life. It is our patterns of eating, sleeping and daily routine that determine whether we fall sicker every day or maintain a high level of health. This course will help the participant understand the dietary and lifestyle mistakes at the basis of chronic disease and enable them to provide natural approaches to remove the root causes of disease including.

  1. Dietary, spice and herbal recommendations for most types of digestive disorders
  2. Internal cleansing programs to remove accumulated toxins and open up the channels of circulation and communication
  3. Lifestyle recommendations to maintain optimum healing and eliminate behaviors at the root cause of imbalance
  4.  Mental approaches to enliven the healing ability of the body and remove stress
